Core Beliefs
Absolute and unchanging moral truth exists and it's found in God's Word. The Bible, Old and New Testaments, is God's Word to us. It was written by human authors, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and inspired by God. It is truth without error and is our final authority for faith and life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; John 17:17; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12)

God is spirit and He is the all-powerful, all-knowing, everywhere present holy creator and sovereign ruler of the universe. He eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are equal and are one God. (Genesis 1:1, 26-27: Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1-5; 14:10-30; 1 Corinthians 8:6)

Jesus Christ is God in human flesh, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life and offered Himself as a full payment for the sins of all people by dying on the cross in our place. He rose from the dead after 3 days demonstrating His victory over sin's penalty. He ascended to heaven and will one day return to reign as King of kings. (Matthew 1:22-23; John 14:6; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11)

We were created in the image of God, but Adam, in sinning (rebelling against God), brought both spiritual and physical death upon all humankind. We have no possible means within ourselves of recovery or salvation and we will one day face eternal judgment. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-16; Roman 3:10, 23; 6:23; Revelation 20:11-15)

Salvation is a gracious gift from God received by faith in Christ alone as Savior and Lord. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Christ and what His death accomplished, can we have the penalty of our sin forgiven, can we be reconciled with God, and can we be given the security of eternal life and every resource needed for godly living; this is the gospel. (John 3:16; 14:6; 17:3; Roman 6:23; 10:8-13; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Ephesians 2:8-9; Revelation 20:15)

Made up of Christ-followers, the church has been given the responsibility to make fully devoted followers of Jesus christ; which includes: evangelizing the lost and building up believers; so that we will reflect in our lives both the character and priorities of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 22:37-38; 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 4:1-6)
