Core Values
We desire to glorify God by seeing people move from the greater community
to the core of our church family, as together we make Jesus more and more
the focal-point of our lives (I Corinthians 14:1; Galations 5:6; Hebrews 10:23-25).
Therefore, the following values are the priorities that we want to see
lived out by those who call Midway their home.

Worship - Living a life that expresses both the sufficiency of God's Word and the supremacy of Christ every day. (Joshua 1:8-9; Psalm 1; Matthew 22:37; Colossians 1:15-20; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; I Peter 3:15). Growth - Pursuing spiritual growth and fruit in our lives and the lives of other Christ-followers by consistently practicing the disciplines of Bible study, prayer, personal obedience (John 15:8; 17:17; Galatians 5:22-23; Colossians 4:2-6; 2 Timothy 2:15;
I Thessalonians 5:17; I Peter 1:14-16)
Connected in relationships (Groups) with other believers that provide mutual spiritual encouragement, offer accountability for spiritual integrity, and produce spiritual fruit and unity in the Church (Ephesians 4:1-16; Hebrews 10:24-25).
Serve and Give - Developing and deploying our natural talents and spiritual gifts to serve others (Matthew 22:38; Mark 10:45; I Corinthians 12; I Peter 4:10), in ways that wisely use the resources God has given to us and recognize that He is the true Owner of all things
(Matthew 25:14-30).
Witness - Being "salt and light" in our world by practicing personal holiness, expressing biblical love toward each other, maintaining unity in the body of Christ and verbally sharing the gospel with others locally and around the world (Matthew 5:13-16; John 13:34-35; 17:23; Acts 1:8).
